Actress Celina Jaitley’s latest role is that of gay rights activist. The busty babe, who famously emerged from the sea in a bikini and playing a violin in her debut film Janasheen, has called on the Indian government to repeal Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code which makes homosexuality illegal in India.

“If Section 377 is repealed, it would be a great move by the Indian government and it would be a giant leap forward for AIDS prevention in a country with one of the highest HIV infection rates in the world,” Jaitley stated.

The former beauty queen, who drinks at gay bars with her gay friends when she visits London, went on to say that homosexuality was a “natural genetic sexual orientation” and that India was “too regressive” about gay rights. “It’s so stupid for a country which invented the ‘Kama Sutra’!” Jaitley told me. “Forget about homosexuality, the attitudes towards women are just as bad.”

Jaitley’s next release Golmaal Returns is set for a Diwali release (October 29).
